1925 Born in Grodnau, Austria 1953 Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, attends Heimo Kuchling´s lectures on morphology, Vienna, Austria 1960 Met Günter Brus and Alfons Schilling 1961 Performed the Immurement action in the Perinet cellar 1954 – 1963 Worked as an Art Therapist in a home for emotionally disturbed children run by the psychoanalyst Eva Rosenfeld, a pupil of Sigmund Freud 1967 Founded ZOCK with Oswald Wiener 1968 Participated in the "Kunst und Revolution" Action at the University of Vienna; Günter Brus, Otto Muehl and Oswald Wiener sentenced to 2 months prison, Vienna, Austria 1961 – 1970 Member of the Viennese Actionist movement 1970 Founded the Praterstrasse Commune, based on the principles of free sexuality, common property, collective education of the children, Vienna, Austria 1974 Founded the Friedrichshofs Commune, Vienna, Austria 1991 – 1997 Spent nearly seven years in prison, during which time he produced several drawings and paintings, Austria 2000 Participated in "La peinture comme crime", Louvre Museum, Paris, France 2001 Founded, Art & Life Sahara Baby Jazz Band, Portugal
