Anton Fidler

1790 Pest - 1878 Vienna

Anton Fidler is a representative of the Vienna School of Flower Painting, his oeuvre is entirely dominated by floral motifs and still lives. He was very active in the first half of the 19th century, and repeatedly exhibited in St. Anna from 1825 to 1855. Around 1845 he was awarded the title of professor, which he also included in his signature.
